Italian-Argentinian director of Photography. Among his Argentinian works are Esperando al Mesías (2000), Todas las Azafatas van al cielo (2002), El Abrazo Partido (2004) Derecho de Familia (2006) with Daniel Burman, Whisky Romeo Zulu (2004) y Fuerza Aerea Sociedad Anónima (2006) with Enrique Piñeyro. With Daniel Rosenfeld he has shot Saluzzi (2000), La Quimera de los Héroes (2003) and Al Centro de la Tierra (2015) and Piazzola : The Years of the Shark (2017). In Spain he has shot Princesas (2006) and Amador (2010) with Fernando León de Aranoa. In Italy, Garage Olimpo (1999) with Marco Bechis, Tornando a casa (2001) with Vincenzo Marra (best cinematography at the Mostra de Valencia, and nominated at the Festival International de Cinema Independiente (BAFICI). In 2007 he shot La Ragazza del Lago with Andrea Molaioli for which he received the Nastri d’Argento 2008 nomination and won the David di Donatello 2008 for best cinematography. With Silvio Soldini he shot Giorni e nuvole (2007), Cosa voglio di più (2010), Il comandante e la cicogna (2012) and Vedere nel Buio (2012). Also in 2012 he shot the documentary film Generale with Lorenzo Rossi Espagnet. In Albania he shot Bota (2014) with Iris Elezi. In 2015 shot El Invierno with Emiliano Torres for which he won the Concha de Plata award for best cinematography at the 2016 San Sebastián Film Festival as well as the Premio Fénix in Mexico City (2017). In Italy he worked with Alessandro Pondi in Chi m’ha visto (2016) and Tutta un’altra vita (2018). Has recently worked with Juan Pablo Felix in a Karnawal (2019) and Matias Lucchesi in Reinas Salvajes (2019).
